Introduction

 Amidst the lush greenery and a serene environment, Jangama mata is located in the rural area of Nagasandra, Krishnagiri district, Tamil nadu and has been providing food and shelter for orphan kids and elderly people from all over the country for several years now. The trust has been supervised and taken care by shri shri siddhalinga maha swamigalu. Cultural activities are conducted to keep up the sipirt of the kids and regular medical camps and health check ups happen from time to time. 

The children are brought up in gurukulas where vedic education is provided to them. For several years agriculture  has been the only source of income to manage the institution. In the year 2012, the members of the trust started an organisation for the welfare of poor children and orphans by the name malligudda educational and socio cultural trust. Several kids from all over the country were taken in under the organisation and were provided education till their higher secondary base at swany vivekanda central school. About 50 students were provided with schooling, food and shelter until 2018. In the year 2018-19 about 10 students were provided the same facilities after which all the students returned to their native. 

The organisation now has been planning to expand in the hopes of bringing in many more under privileged children by building a 3 storey hostel with acapacity to accommodate 500 kids. Due to the financial crunch and the lack of funds, the construction and the maintance of the hostel is at risk.
